MWDI's primary focus is the wood duck but our underlying objectives are much deeper. The wood duck is actually our excuse to experience wetlands and wildlife in a more intimate, respectful manner, something that many people, especially while very young, rarely have the opportunity to do.

MWDI hopes to build a photo library which will help communicate "The Total Wetland Experience" and encourages you to participate by sending us your own digital "wetland experiences" to add to this library.
