A Major Supporter of MWDI
Financial Donations & Volunteers
Making a Difference in Kent County

MWDI sponsored a youth wood duck box assembly event at the
Chestertown Wildlife Exhibition and Sale on Saturday, October
15th. 18 boxes were built and decorated by about 25 kids ranging
from 2 -10 years old.
Typically, a very popular activity, this year was no different
as the
hammering started within minutes of MWDI's getting setup.
Special
thanks to John Chew, Jerry McCarty and DNR's Josh
Homyack who assisted Cliff Brown in mentoring the
kids.
The next event is November 6th at Maret High School's Community
Service Day in Washington, DC.
This is the 6th year MWDI has
participated in the wildlife show. CWE was an early supporter of MWDI's mission and it has financially supported MWDI's public
lands projects in Kent County at Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge,
Chesapeake Farms, Urieville Lake, Radcliffe Creek Middle School
and at the Millington WMA.
