At DNR's Wildlife Advisory Commission meeting, MWDI Director Cliff Brown will be awarded the 2007 MD DNR Wildlife Conservationist of the Year Award. Previously in 2006, Cliff received first annual MD Volunteer Conservationist of the Year award from Ducks Unlimited. MWDI is receiving this recognition due to the volunteers within the wildlife conservation community and the impact they are making on the growth of Maryland's wood duck population.

All size boats are welcome and needed. If you don’t have a boat, don’t worry…..there will be plenty of room in someone’s boat. We will be putting in at Shad Landing State Park boat ramp (Shad Landing is on Rt. 113 between Snow Hill & Pocomoke City).
