Safari Club International - Chesapeake Chapter

MWDI Needs Project Managers!
(i.e someone to be responsible to inspect nest boxes at least once annually) at the following sites:

  • Myrtle Grove - Charles County, 2 modules - 4-6 hours each

  • Smallwood State Park - Charles County (2 hours)

  • Tawes Garden - Anne Arundel County (45 minutes)

  • Chicamicomico River - Dorchester ( 6-8 hours- boat needed)

  • Chesapeake Farms - Kent County (2-4 hour modules)

We can accommodate anyone’s schedule and customize a rewarding “Total Wetland Experience.” Scheduling occurs on short notice so the website is not always current. Please note regional preferences and whether weekdays or weekends preferred.

Final site inspection & material delivery for new 3-box project at Kinder Farm Park (KFP). MWDI will provide KFP with the boxes, poles and predator guards. Lisa Willis, Sharon Warner and the Friends of KFP will be coordinating the installation and monitoring the boxes along with their existing 22-box bluebird nesting program.
